user a HotelOFarril.com user, france - date posted: August 5, 2010 De toute beauté, une architecture d'époque très bien conservée, une atmosphère familiale, un personnel dévoué et attentif, le passage dans cet hôtel est et restera un bon souvenir. C'est un hôtel au nombre de chambres limitée, ce qui peut être un atout. Nous n'avons pas été ennuyés par les bruits de la rue voisine.

user a HotelOFarril.com user, new zealand - date posted: June 6, 2010 When I arrived at the hotel I was amazed at the awesome museum like architecture of the hotel and was keen to stay in a building with such history. The location is perfect for the old town. The staff are friendly and helpful. My room was on the street side and quite noisy, the mattresses are very thin and slightly unconfortable. Although the rooms are clean, beware of the small black bettles that infest the room. The food was disappointing but a common problem in most restaurants I visited.

user a HotelOFarril.com user, united states of america - date posted: April 8, 2010 We stayed there a week, the employees could not be nicer or better. they were very friendly, helpful and spoke english ! the rooms were roomy, clean, and very adequate. Rooms on the street side can be a bit noisy.....this is a very nice hotel, but the employees are really, really nice folks.

The hotels of this chain are veritable museums, very clean and well kept, and, of course, their best feature is the staff: they are very helpful, courteous and professional. We found the staff very helpful and friendly and the meals in the Don Ricardo Restaurant were of a very good standard,also the location in old havana was excellant being able to walk easily to many locations in habana vieja. We hope someday to return to cuba for a longer stay and would have no hesitation in staying at the palacio o'farrill. Gary Marsh Brisbane Australia

The breakfast (included) was ok, we felt a little improvement could have had a big impact and possibly more people may have returned for the excellent evening dinner(s) they serve, followed by entertainment of the all girl band "Sol y Arena" on the Saturday evening, so good I bought the CD. All in all it was a good, If I/we ever return to Old Havana we would return to this Hotel.

Hotel O'Farrill has so much charm, nice clean room, absolutely fantastic staff. It's nice and central to markets, restaurants, banks and ATM's. Has a tour reservation desk that offers great tours at good prices with a fantastic operator. Would recommend and would stay again.

We stayed in the Palacio O'Farrill and thought it was a super hotel with tons of character and history. Just make sure your room has a window. Central to all Havana sites. Highly recommended.
